About Socol Moran Partners

Pam Moran and Ira Socol have been working together to transform the learning experiences of children and adults for over ten years. Pam has over four decades in public education, including 13 years as a superintendent of schools. Ira has experiences in art, architecture, police work, and 25 years working to liberate learning for every kind of student, including as a public school Chief Technology and Innovation Officer.

As a team they led a remarkable transformation of a highly diverse school system, opening up learning through multi-age classrooms, multi-teacher and cross-curricular environments, open technologies, and an absolute commitment to learner-centric learning environments.

Together they have authored Timeless Learning: How Imagination, Observation, and Zero-Based Thinking Change Schools. They work with educators around the world to help transform schools through trusting children and childhood.
